Roles: what each role can do

Every person has one role: owner, branch manager, supervisor or staff. The role decides what you see and can change. If a button or a Settings row is missing for you, your role does not include it; ask your manager or the owner. The server checks the same rules.

Everything, in every branch: all tasks and issues, readiness and inspection, the team (any role), branches, restaurant policy, setup, the subscription and the activity log.

Everything in their own branches: change tasks and task settings, close and reopen issues, manage documents, run practice inspections and log authority visits, edit the restaurant policy, and add or change supervisors and staff. A branch manager cannot add branches, see the subscription or see other branches.

Run the shift: see all tasks and issues of the branch, complete and assign tasks, work on issues and send them for verification (not close them), correct readings and records, do calibration checks, set allergens, log pest control visits, and view documents, the team and the restaurant policy. Supervisors see “If inspected today” on Home but do not run inspections.

The daily work: their own tasks and tasks given to nobody, readings, cleaning and trip records, deliveries, reporting problems and working on their own problems. Staff see only their own issues, their own certificates plus the chemical safety sheets, and their own training. They do not see the readiness score.

Staff report it and record what was done. A supervisor also records the check and sends it for verification. An owner or branch manager closes it, and can reopen it.

Everyone completes tasks (staff only their own or unassigned ones). Owners, branch managers and supervisors assign tasks. Owners and branch managers change task settings.

Owners, branch managers and supervisors. Everyone can record readings, cooling, cleaning and trips, and see the branch’s reading history.

Who can dispose of stock or edit suppliers?

Section titled “Who can dispose of stock or edit suppliers?”

Everyone records deliveries. Disposing of or returning a batch, and recalls, are for owners, branch managers and supervisors. Adding or changing suppliers is for owners and branch managers.

Restaurant papers: owners and branch managers manage them, supervisors view them, staff do not see them. Chemical safety sheets: everyone can view them. Personal certificates: owners and branch managers manage them, supervisors view them, staff see only their own.
