Readiness, period summary and evidence

Who this page is for: Owner, Branch manager, Supervisor

These screens show how well the branch keeps its food safety records. They are for owners, branch managers and supervisors.

On Home tap Details on the readiness card. Each line is the share of its items in good order: today’s tasks done, equipment whose last reading is within limits, issues closed, batches on hand that are not expired, documents that are valid (missing ones count against), and dishes whose allergens are all reviewed. Training shows “Not set up” and is not counted yet. A line with no records yet is “Not evaluated” and never counted as good. The overall figure is the average of the evaluated lines.

A line has a serious problem. The screen says what the figure would be without it. Fix the problem and the hold goes away.

Open Settings > Period summary and choose Today, 7 days or 30 days. The top shows the share of due tasks done, how it compares with the period before, and whether it was a good period, needs attention or was poor. Below it:

  • Fix these first: equipment out of range, overdue issues, missed tasks, cleaning redone in the same place, failed cooling. Tap one to go there.
  • What we noticed: patterns, for example the days with most problems, evening tasks being missed, or a supplier with rejected deliveries.
  • By area, compared with the period before; the equipment with the most problems; and each team member’s tasks on time.

The owner taps the branch name at the top and chooses a branch or All branches. All branches lists the branches that need attention first and compares them.

Proof that each check of your program was done. Open it from the readiness screen (Show the evidence) or from a finished task (Evidence). For today, 7 or 30 days it lists every task with what was expected, done, missed and failed. A task shows “Complete trail” only when everything expected was done; otherwise “Evidence missing”, “Failed”, “Not due yet” or “Not set up”.

How do I show an inspector that a check is done every day?

Section titled “How do I show an inspector that a check is done every day?”

Open Evidence and tap the task. Every scheduled time in the period is listed with done, skipped, missed or upcoming, and the value or result.

No. The summary only counts what was recorded. Missing records are shown as missing, never as good.
