Preparing the phone and the setup wizard

The first time you sign in on a phone, the app copies your restaurant’s data to it. This happens once; afterwards the app works offline. If it fails, connect to the internet and tap Try again. You can also sign out from this screen.

A new branch is set up once with the setup wizard. It opens by itself for a new restaurant, and when an owner or branch manager switches to a branch that is not set up. Your answers decide which daily tasks and inspection checks the branch gets. Continue moves on (it stays grey until the step is done) and Back goes back.

  1. What the branch does, for example shawarma and grill, bakery or cafe. You can add more activities.
  2. The branch name.
  3. How it serves customers: dine-in, takeaway, delivery, catering or central kitchen.
  4. Its areas (already picked from your answers; adjust them).
  5. How many of each piece of equipment (fridges, freezers, grills, fryers, thermometers…). Add other equipment for anything not shown.
  6. What it receives and stores (meat, poultry, dairy, dry goods…).
  7. Opening hours for each day. They decide when the daily checks are due.
  8. A summary: tap a line to change it, then tap Start using the app.

The app asks first. For a brand-new restaurant, what you entered is lost and you are signed out. For another branch, you go back to the branch you were on.

Yes. Equipment, areas and opening hours are in Settings > Branches. Extra tasks go in Settings > Restaurant policy.

Why did the setup wizard open when I switched branch?

Section titled “Why did the setup wizard open when I switched branch?”

That branch was never set up. Finish the wizard once, or close it to go back to your previous branch.

The save failed. Check your connection and try again.
