Recording a cleaning
Everyone can record a cleaning. Start it from a cleaning task (Record the cleaning), from the + on the Tasks tab (Log a clean), or in Records > Cleaning (Record a cleaning). It takes four short steps; Next moves on and Back goes back.
How do I record a cleaning?
Section titled “How do I record a cleaning?”- What: choose the area or equipment you cleaned (for example the prep table, a fridge, the waste area or the ice machine). From a cleaning task it is already chosen.
- Product: choose the product, for example general cleaner, degreaser, sanitizer or water only.
- Method: choose how, for example wipe, spray and wipe, scrub and rinse, or machine wash.
- Result: choose Done, or Needs redo if it was not clean enough. Add a note if you want and swipe Swipe to save.
What I cleaned, the product or the method is not in the list
Section titled “What I cleaned, the product or the method is not in the list”Choose Other in that step and type it.
What does “Needs redo” do?
Section titled “What does “Needs redo” do?”The cleaning stays at the top of Records > Cleaning until the same thing is cleaned again with the result Done.
How do I leave without saving?
Section titled “How do I leave without saving?”Tap Close. If you entered something, the app asks before throwing it away.
How do I correct a cleaning record?
Section titled “How do I correct a cleaning record?”Owners, branch managers and supervisors open the record in Records and tap Correct this record. The same steps open with the old answers. Change what was wrong, write the reason and swipe Swipe to save the correction. The original stays in the history.
Why can’t I go to the next step?
Section titled “Why can’t I go to the next step?”That step has no answer yet: “Choose what was cleaned”, “Choose the cleaning product” or “Choose the cleaning method”. A correction also needs a reason (“Write the reason first”).
