Restaurant policy: your own tasks and readings

Who this page is for: Owner, Branch manager, Supervisor

Restaurant policy holds your restaurant’s own tasks and readings, on top of the official ones. They are scheduled and show on the Tasks tab like the others, but are always labelled as your policy, never as an official rule. Open it from Settings > Restaurant policy. Owners and branch managers edit it; supervisors can view it.

  1. Tap Add a task. Type the task name and choose the type: a check (done or not), a reading (a number), pass / fail / N/A, or a checklist.
  2. Turn on Require a photo if it can only be finished with a photo taken on the spot.
  3. For a reading, set the unit and, if you want, the lowest and highest allowed values; a reading outside them opens an issue. For a checklist, add its items with Add an item.
  4. Choose what it applies to: the equipment (one task per piece) or General when it is not about a machine.
  5. Choose how often, then tap Save.

Continue moves to the next step and Back goes back.

Tap the task, change it and tap Save. Remove this task stops it being scheduled after you confirm; what was already recorded stays, and past readings keep the limits they were judged by.

“The lowest value is above the highest value”

Section titled ““The lowest value is above the highest value””

The two limits are swapped. Correct them.

Not here. Open the task and its task settings to change how often it repeats or who does it.
